Acceptable/Unacceptable Waste
 
ATTENTION

As of January 1st, 2020 there will be an extra fee of $50 for customers who overload our roll off dumpsters.  This has become more and more common in the waste hauling industry and is causing huge safety hazards.  Overloading dumpsters makes it difficult or impossible to tarp them, making it dangerous for our employees as well as other road traffic.

Acceptable as C&D (Construction & Demolition) – Construction Projects
  • Bricks, concrete and masonry (size restrictions apply.)
  • Corrugated cardboard (that is incidental to load.)
  • Electrical fixtures (ballasts and transformers are accepted, but they must be removed from fixture. No ballasts or transformers with PCBs.)
  • Electrical wiring
  • Glass
  • Metal (small quantities)
  • Non-asbestos insulation
  • Paint cans (must be empty and dry. Lids must be off.)
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Roofing shingles
  • Siding
  • Wall covering, drywall, plaster, etc.
  • Wood, untreated (including pallets – size restrictions apply.)
Acceptable as MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) – Household Cleanouts

  • Carpeting
  • Furniture (stuffed furniture tables, chairs, etc.)
  • Metal (no large machinery)
  • Microwaves (surcharge applies)
  • Tires (limit 10; no ties by the ton; off-road and tractor tires are not accepted. A surcharge applies to acceptable tires.)
  • White goods (surcharge for items with refrigerants.)
  • Wood, treated (size restrictions apply.)

Unacceptable Waste
  • Asbestos-contaminated material, including transite
  • Computers – if these are found in trash loads, customers will be assessed an additional surcharge of $25.00 per item
  • Explosives
  • Liquid wastes
  • Propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders
  • Radioactive materials, including smoke detectors
  • Sharps and syringes
  • Televisions – if these are found in trash loads, customers will be assessed an additional surcharge of $25.00 per item
  • Yardwaste
Prohibited Materials Notice
We must stress that any items listed in the unacceptable waste are found within the trash loads are subject to a $375.00 re-load fee, and returned to site for proper separation, at customers expense.
Asbestos Notice
Ciotti Enterprises, Inc. is a licensed hauler for ACM (asbestos containing material.) Please notify us if there will be asbestos any trash load so it may handled properly, and charged accordingly.
Additional Disposal Fees
(Fees charged in addition to regular trash and C&D disposal fees. These charges are necessary to help defray the additional cost of properly disposing of these items in compliance with environmental regulations.)
Appliances with refrigerants (CFCs), including air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc.: $20.00

 Microwaves: $10.00

Tires up to 20” in diameter (Limit 10 tires.): $8/ea

Tires between 21” and 24” in diameter (No tires over 24”. (No off-road or tractor tires accepted. Limit 10 tires.): $11/ea
